Term: Less for More.
Recently, I chanced upon this term, and it set me thinking for the past few days.
It shares that having Less things creates More space in life; and this is not the first time I came across this term.
I have been reflecting about my life for the past few days, and I realised that I have so many things that I don’t need, but I’m keeping them for “memories”, for “happiness”, and for the sake of having it.
Does those things give me nice memories?
Does those things give me happiness?
Does those things make me a better person?
And does those things make me any richer?
My answer to all those questions is: NO.
In fact, having so many things in my life actually makes me miserable - I’ve run out of space at home; I buy things to fulfill a fake sense of happiness; I carry more stuffs in my bag than I actually need; I waste more time concerning about things that aren’t important; and many more.
For example, I have wasted a lot of time thinking about what notebook to use as I have too many choices. And next, I wasted more time thinking how how I should carry my notebooks and my pens.
I asked myself “why am I doing all these?”, and I finally concluded that it’s all for “The Image”, which doesn’t worth anything at all. It’s all fake.
Today, I decided to let go of the things that I have no use of, so that I have more space in my life, more time for myself rather than my possessions, more money for my actual needs.
My Resolution for 2018 is to get rid of my things and not to add any unnecessary stuffs into my life. I want more life in my Life.
It’s time, to have Less For More in Life.
